How to select the right white paint for your exterior and when to bring in an expert colour consultant

Whites are really complicated – who would’ve thought!  Everyone says ‘white is white’ but that is simply not the case.  White, like any other colour, evokes certain emotions, it is affected by exposure to natural sunlight, it can show  shadowing that look like dirt, and whites can also look dirty and clean, yellow and stark white.

I’ve compiled a few images to show you what different whites look like, however, this doesn’t mean this is what they will look like on your home.  So get in touch if you would like to discuss the right white (or colour) for your home exterior and the style you are hoping to achieve.

Dulux Natural White This is a gorgeous white that is loved by so many. In a low light environment it is a cool white, however if you are north facing, it will have a very soft but warm white feel – not yellow, but warm.
